Ready

I'm a natural problem solver. I truly believe everything is fixable. When it comes to bodies, I've experienced first hand that you can fix what you think is unfixable.
I first discovered Pilates when I was a dancer in college. I had a slightly tilted pelvis, tight muscles and an injured hamstring. My body felt tight, I wasn't performing my best and I knew I could be better. I was lucky to find a Pilates instructor who could see what needed to be 'fixed' and my body changed completely. My body found a freedom it had never had before. Muscles became not only active but balanced and my dancing soared. She taught me how to use my body properly! It led to an amazing career traveling all over the world.
When I look back on my training, I started to see what I was missing from my teachers. Therefore, when I started teaching Pilates, I became known for my attention to detail, my demand of focus and on occasion, I'm even called 'bossy'. To see real improvement and lasting results it's not just about doing movement, but doing it correctly. As Joseph Pilates would say "Concentrate on the correct movement each time you exercise, lest you do them improperly and thus lose all vital benefits."
